Ladies’ 5s battle hard to get last minute winner!

We started off a bit shaky as we had a new mix of players, however we quickly picked up the pace and scored our first goal in the first half thanks to Sherene’s bulldozing tactics. We ended the first half strongly, but unfortunately didn’t carry that energy into the start of the second half and Wychwood scored their first but only goal of the match. We pushed and fought for the ball hard and managed to get multiple short corners, having multiple shots on goal. We scraped one in the last few minutes and with a whopping clean hit from Rebecca from the top of the D, we secured the winning goal of the game, making the outcome 2-1 to Hawks.
