Women’s 1s in narrow loss to Uni

It was a game of two halves for the Ladies 1s against Oxford Uni. Game plan was to go out hard and win the ball high, so Hawks came out raring to go all guns blazing. We had plenty of chances, only missing by tiny margins, but sadly no success in the first half. 2nd half saw a momentum shift to Oxford Uni and despite our hard work and tireless running, we conceded in the 3rd quarter. Last quarter saw Hawks create some good attacks to try equalise, but a few more near misses and some cards meant it just wasn’t our day. Final score ended 1-0 to Oxford Uni.
