U18 Girls through to next round of the England Cup Competition

The U18 Girls progressed through to the next round of the England Cup Competition (Tier 2) on Sunday when they beat Marlow 5-4. In an unusual scenario, Marlow turned up with no goalkeeper and played the entire game with 11 outfield players. Marlow made good use of their extra pitch player and both teams contributed to a highly competitive game. Hawks passed well for the majority of the game while Marlow ran effectively with the ball to produce a fairly nerve-wracking encounter for the spectators! Hawks goals came from Gemma Taylor (2), Mimi Rumsby (2) and Frankie Brown.
