Men’s 2s lose to Slough 1s

It was a beautiful sunny morning when Men’s 2s came onto the pitch at BRN. After one minute’s silence as it was Armistice Day, they were keen to begin. The umpires ruled that Slough’s pink was too close to maroon, so our home team changed into white.
It was a hard-fought high-scoring game with lots of action. Hawks scored twice with goals from Dan Smith and Adam Grout. Unfortunately, Slough got four goals, so the final result was a 4-2 win to Slough.
