Ladies’ 3s draw derby

The ladies 3s were excited about the local derby against Oxford 3s and started off really strongly. Hawks spent a lot of time in Oxford’s D but sadly were unable to convert any of their opportunities.

At half time it was 0-0. Oxford started the 2nd half more strongly than Hawks and ended up going 1-0 up.

Hawks needed this incentive to push forward again and upped their game, creating even more chances. It looked as though, it wasn’t going to be Hawks’ day but thankfully Emily Barnard popped up to score the equaliser.

Player of the match went to Lucy Hanslip for her very skilful ways and immense work rate throughout the game.
