Impressive season opener for the U12 boys A team

We were very excited to play our first game of the season on Sunday morning at BRN. Our opposition were Banbury, who are often very good, and so we knew we would need to play well to beat them. We had a strong start and Banbury were pegged back into their own circle a lot of the time and despite some excellent saves from the Banbury keeper, they found themselves 2-0 down at the end of the first third. After the 2 minute break Hawks were hungry for more goals, scoring in the first 20 seconds of the 2nd third, coming into the last third at 5-0 up. At the end of the game we finished with a 10-0 win with goals coming from Ava x3, Flora x2, Jemima x2, Mim x2 and Cecily. Well played to Imogen for getting Man of the Match.
