The M6's or what is now the clubs Development Team kicked off the new season with a very strong performance.

The team reduced to eleven early on with an injury to Chris Hutton played some outstanding hockey at times and were rewarded with goals in each half from Paul Scragg and Gabriel Richmond. Paul Poulter acting as a forward minded sweeper broke down the few Banbury attacks that got through midfield and Alex Day in central midfield and Dylan Jones on left wing continuously put Banbury under pressure and were well deserved joint winners of the MoM award.
