M2s win away in South Berkshire

The Men’s 2s were at their best against South Berkshire 1s in their tricky trip to Wokingham. South Berkshire sitting third in the league were clearly up for the game against the unbeaten league leaders and fielded a full squad of 16 against the 12 Hawks. Hawks were, however on top of their game and came away with a convincing 4-1 win. Short corner strikes from Bas Marshall and Harry Venables were followed by further goals from Owen Lloyd and Dan Smith who notched an absolute cracker. The win puts Hawks in fine fettle for the visit of Haslemere to Banbury Road North this Saturday at 1:30 for another top of the table clash. All support welcome!
