Oxford Hawks U10 @ Buckingham Festival – 20.10.24

The U10s took 3 teams to a pretty windy and rainy Buckingham Festival, and played some great hockey despite the conditions. For the second festival in a row, we were fortunate to have one GK for each team (quite a rarity at U10s), and they all made some truly incredible saves! There was also some great passing hockey on display, with the teams starting to look backwards and sideways (instead of forwards all the time) to find the spaces. A healthy mix of wins, draws, and losses, but lots of smiles all round (especially when the medals came out!). Huge thanks especially to all the parents for coming all the way to Buckingham, and also for putting up with the less than ideal weather! We very much look forward to the next festival - being our very own one at Hawks on Sunday 10th November.
