Ladies’ 7s lose to Oxford 7s

The sun was shining on Saturday’s match for the Ladies 7s against Oxford.
There was lots of good play in both halves with the team working well together despite the lack of subs. As a team they fought hard to hold Oxford off with excellent defensive play from the back and good saves from Helena.
Unfortunately as the match progressed Oxford continued to score 4 goals and the team’s growing fatigue meant they were unable to convert their chances on goal.
Man of the match votes went to Kim and Helena and but the joint winners were Flora and Philippa.
