It was a very warm day for October and also happened to be the Open Day for Oxford Brookes (and Headington School).  So we suspected that parking might be difficult.  Phil decided to cycle there from Botley!  That definitely counted as her warm-up.

Oxford began strongly and quickly began to score.  We did some good attacking moves, especially in the second half.  However we could not convert these attempts into goals.  The final score was 8 – 0 to Oxford.

There were Player of the Match nominations for Shan, Liv, Jess, Quirine (playing for us for the first time), Helena and Kim.  However, the winner was Phil who played an outstanding game and made a major contribution to our tactics at the half-time talk.
