Witney 3s hold W5s to another frustrating draw

After a fast paced warmup in the car park, we got onto the sandy pitch where the ball had a mind of its own. The first half had both teams fighting hard, but Hawks kept their composure and Nina bounced the ball to Caris to pop it in for the first goal of the match.

After halftime we started slow and Witney quickly slipped in a goal. We retaliated by fighting for a short corner which bounced from Sherene over to Nina on post and back to Sherene to put us in the lead once again.

A another goal for Witney was awarded by the referees, and although we played hard until the final whistle, we ended the game as a draw 2-2.
