Season 2022-2023
Ladies’ 7s lose to Kidlington
Published on 12th Nov, 2022
The sun was shining in Kidlington this morning with spirits high. We started off strongly in the first half with possession in their D straight away, but two unlucky shorts corners to them meant we were 2-0 down after the first half. We didn’t give up in the second half and worked on tighter triangles to get the ball up the pitch. However, Kidlington got a great goal from the top of the D and another from a short corner.
Lots of nominations for player of the match: Kim, Camilla, Daisy, Jill, and Nina. However, player of the match was Katie who worked endlessly in defence with some great tackles.
Thank you to Mrs Mainwaring for taking the photos.
