Ladies’ 6s trumped at Tring

>With a delayed start due the Tring’s umpires not being told the correct match time, Hawks Ladies 6's started off the match playing strongly and together and only managed to concede three goals in the first half, as well as scoring a lovely goal from Linda. Linda (goalie) passed to Phil, Phil passed to Caroline, Caroline passed it on to Sophie, then back to Caroline, where Yas then drew 2 defenders away creating the gap for Caroline to pass it to Linda who had a shot at goal, it went passed the GK ricocheting off of the backboard to the sideboard with VENOM!!!!

Unfortunately, we conceded 3 more goals in the second half, leaving the end result 6-1 to them. However, we fought hard and played as a team, while having no subs.

Throughout the whole match there were some lovely saves by Jan and Linda on the line resulting in Linda (GK) to get POM.

After the match we had some very tasty lamingtons made by Caroline and mars bar crispy cakes by Jan.
