Ladies’ 5s lose out in close match at Thame

We arrived very optimistic and ready for a good battle at Thame. Our energy was high during the first half and increased  over the duration of the game with lots of attacking play and shots on goal, but unfortunately we were unable to convert. With a touch of luck the opposition managed to score a goal late  in the second half.  We nearly equalised a few minutes later but a lucky dive by a Thame defender deflected the ball. A very unfortunate end to the game but we battled till the end.
