Ladies’ 4s in tough game v Witney

Hawks took on Witney 2s on a cold Saturday morning. Hawks started off strongly. They moved the ball around well and skilfully tackled their players. Witney had some chances but due to some amazing saves from Tehya, they only scored one goal in the first half. However, Hawks’ defence remained strong meaning Witney didn’t score any more goals in the first half.

As Hawks persevered our forwards made some brilliant runs onto the ball up the pitch but unfortunately, we were not able to get any goals. Witney had a breakthrough in the second half allowing them a second goal. Hawks remained strong and with some good passing and skills, we prevented them from getting another goal. Despite losing, hawks played incredibly well and fought their hardest.
