Saturday hockey is Back!

It is great to be back on the pitch on a Saturday!  The nice thing about belonging to a large club like Oxford Hawks is that there are enough people around in August to play in the pre-season training games.

We divided into two teams: the whites and the dark side and went out and had fun.  We had no keepers, but, as it was with the Olympics, there are times when you need to know how to play with no keeper.

It was a very enjoyable high-scoring game with lots of action.  We played in quarters so that we could stop and discuss what went well and what could be better.  It was lovely that we had some new players to welcome and it was good for them to be seen by representatives of all the teams.
