Oxford Hawks Women’s 7’s vs Thame 4s – 30.11.24

A bright morning and a bright start from Hawks!

A fabulous field goal came from Margaret in the 15th minute.

Quickly followed by a beautifully worked goal with Gill chasing down a ball in defence, passing to Huei who made a dynamic run down the wing followed by a wonderful cross to Linda who finished the job.

Hawks kept the pressure on with plenty of chances, and continued the strong performance in the second half.

We had some well worked short corners which came close but it was Margaret again with a great strike from the edge of the D which found the bottom corner of the net.

Rosie came away with man of the match for a great all round performance. And special mention to Isla’s delicious rocky road which the team enjoyed after their win.
