Oxford Hawks Women’s 5’s vs Oxford Hawks Women’s 6’s – 28.09.24

In our second league match of the season the opposition for the Hawks Ladies 5s was the Hawks Ladies 6s.

The first half started off slowly for the 5s against an eager 6s side, but the second quarter saw the 5s pick up and the match become evenly sided. As the half continued the 5s added more pressure and Caitlin scored with an assist from Rebecca off the back of an amazing ball through the pitch from Philippa.

After a positive half time talk, the 5s continued to work together with some lovely passages of play culminating in a second aerial goal scored by Laura.
As we tired, the final quarter became more tense but the match finished with a 2-0 win for the Hawks Ladies 5s.

Man of the match votes were for Sherene, Laura, Anoushka, Maria and Caris but the winner was a well deserved Jane for her hard work throughout the match.
