Oxford Hawks Women’s 4’s vs Reading 5s – 09.11.24

We started off the game a bit rocky with Reading winning a short corner very early on. However we picked up our game, got into it and played strongly. We had lots of good shots on goal, all saved by some excellent keeping on their side.

It was still 0:0 at half time and our team talk focussed on better communication on the pitch and moving into space more. And with two of our players having injuries at half time we had to shuffle our formation for the second half.

It was a very evenly matched game with Reading, unfortunately, scoring in the last 15 minutes from a short corner making the final score 1:0 to Reading.
