Mini’s Madness Across South Central

Mini's madness as we had 8 teams representing Hawks across 4 locations within south central! See below for individual location reports:

It was an unbeaten day for the u10s at Bloxham, drawing 4-4 vs Bicester, and winning 5-1 vs Banbury and 5-1 vs Milton Keynes. With the team led by Archie winters, he was delighted to see good hockey, goals being scored and smiles on faces!

We then had more hawks at Reading for another U10 group – the white team won 2, lost 2, including 6-1 win over Reading 1s, while the maroon team won 3, lost 2. Andy, Catherine and Kiran took 3 teams down the m40 for some very competitive matches with plenty of goals in Berkshire as well!

And then 30 minutes from Reading we had 2 more U10 teams playing at Marlow. Both teams had Wins, losses and draw's but all enjoyed some proper fixtures and most if not all got on the scoresheet! Thanks to Jemima and Lex for making the trip to Marlow.

Finally, above is a lovely picture of the U8s (minus Ottilie who had to shoot off) – many of whom were having their first experience of match play. Both teams had a mix of wins and losses, but they certainly all had a good time which was the most important part! Big thanks to Kim and Angela for making the trip to Tilsley Park!
