Ladies’ 5s have to accept a draw in should-have-won match

It was always going to be a tough match against Wychwood, who have got some good results recently. However, on the chilly Saturday morning, we started the match strongly with Sherene scoring in the first five minutes with assists from Catherine, Minty, Masha and Bea. After a great fight from the team they managed to just skip past us scoring in the middle of the first half.

Wychwood came out more strongly after half time and Masha passed to Effie who dribbled it across the D and slapped it into the right corner. We had many opportunities throughout the match but Wychwood did not give up. In the last minute the opposition won a short corner and managed to score just as the whistle blew. Unfortunately, we ended with a 2-2 draw. So, it was a disappointing result given our performance over the match, but there’s still room for improvement over the next few matches!
