Ladies 3s lose out at Witney

Oxford Hawks Ladies 3s made the short journey to play Witney 2s. Despite a good warm up, Hawks found themselves 1-0 down within 1 minute of the game.

Hawks were motivated to play better at this point and started putting the Witney defence under a lot of pressure. A great move from Flo Spackman on the right-hand side, ended with Becky Waite shooting from a tight like a tiger angle and getting a lovely goal. 1-1, game on.

Wise words were shared at half time by Scraggle and Claudia. This resulted in hawks going out hard in the 2nd half. Spells of this period were really good for Hawks, but Witney ended up scoring three more goals and the game ended 4-1 to Witney.

Player of the match was a tie between Becky, Chloe Scragg and Lucille Heard who all had brilliant games.
