Second hand kit shop on 1st Sunday of month

We are excited to announce the introduction of a 2nd hand hockey kit and equipment shop to the junior section for the coming season.

As a Club we are fully aware of the cost of living increases seen for all over the past couple of years, as well as the at times high cost of hockey equipment. This, combined with the environmental benefits of getting more use out of hockey clothing and kit has kick started us in getting this set up.

We are encouraging all members that have any Oxford Hawks 'stash', playing equipment and general playing kit that are no longer in use (too small, newer items purchased etc.) to donate them items that are in good reusable condition which will then be sold at a suggested 25% of the RRP (and lower for those that may require it). Please ensure they are clean / washed before donating!

All funds raised will be split between the Oxford Hawks Foundation (fund created to make hockey accessible for all) and the clubhouse redevelopment.

We are starting to collect items now and plan to 'Open' the shop on the first Sunday of each month. So please feel free to hand items to myself, Yas and any of the coaching team and we will ensure it gets to the right place. Items could include:

Oxford Hawks branded 'stash' - midlayers, shorts, skorts, t-shirts, socks etc.

Equipment - Sticks, shoes, gloves, shin pads (don't worry about mouthguards!!)

Other playing kit - hockey shorts, skorts, training socks etc.

We have already had 1 parent step forward to help run this initiative, which we are hugely grateful for but are looking for more to share the load. If you would like to get involved or for more information on this, please get in touch with myself directly.
