With one of our objectives being to increase the number of opportunities for young people to play hockey, this season sees us kick off Project 2000!
We have an initial, ambitious target of getting 2000 hours of hockey delivered into local schools (mainly state primary) across a 12-month period, and in year 1 we achieved just over 400. Year 2 we are chasing 650 hours! We plan on achieving this through coaches already within the club, and then through partnering with local schools and clubs who share our passion and ambition to grow the game of hockey in Oxfordshire.
